Green Energy:  Wind, Solar and Geothermal Energies

The term green energy is used to refer to power generated through renewable, environmentally friendly methods, such as wind, solar and geothermal.  Green power produced by the sun is called solar power. Energy produced by the wind through wind turbines or wind mills is wind power.  Both are non-polluting energy sources that do not run out.

If you are looking for some relief from your electric bill you have probably considered wind energy or solar panels.  The initial cost can put them out of reach for many people. Sometimes people decide to build the wind turbines or solar panels themselves. Do you have the knowledge and skills?

Wind and solar energy as green energy has an enormous amount of potential for future supplies of energy.  In fact, it is actively being developed by major companies right now.  The Economist magazine says, “Wind is now so big that companies are investing seriously.”  They go on to say, “a fundamental change is coming” — and sooner than any of us ever imagined.”
